Derek & The Dominos – Stormy Monday
Label:Trade Mark Of Quality – TMQ 71082
Format:Vinyl, LP, Album, Unofficial Release
US /1974
The bootleg focuses on an extended "Stormy Monday" jam, typical of Derek & The Dominos' blues-heavy performances.
The November 1970 concerts were the band's last live performances shortly before their dissolution.
Their live performances from this period—especially the concerts in Santa Monica and Philadelphia (Electric Factory)—are among the most famous bootleg recordings.
Additional recordings, such as "The Majestic Stand" (Philadephia, October 16) and the Fillmore East shows, were released on other labels, including Mid Valley and Empress Valley.
These concerts included classics such as "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad," "Have You Ever Loved a Woman," and "Key to the Highway," as well as deep blues like "Stormy Monday."
