The Nile Song is a piece of music from the 1969 album More,the soundtrack to the accompanying film.The band played David Gilmour,Roger Waters,Nick Mason.

The keyboardist Richard Wright is missing.

It is the second title of the album and was released together with the musically similar Ibiza bar as a single.

The piece, which depicts the encounter of a man with a woman on the Nile, is extremely hard and powerfully instrumented for the band and can be seen as a forerunner of the heavy metal genre.

The Nile Song was never played live from Pink Floyd.
