The Pupils' first LP delivers ten slices of Punk Rock'n'Roll that would've been at home at Le Gibus back in 1977. Yet it doesn't sound retro, it just kicks ass at 45 rpm ! Think missing link between '76 Saints and Asphalt Jungle if you really need to. Half the songs would've made a great single A-side, the other half sounds like good B-sides: that's what we call a sweet deal ! They prove that real teenagers can rock as good as guys in their 30's (or is it 40's these days') in 2011 !
