Xilografía que representa a Soga Goro Tokimune, un personaje de una famosa obra de teatro kabuki. Medidas sin marco: 26 x 39 cm. Realizada por Sadanobu Hasegawa III (Osaka, 1881–1963). Fue el tercer grabador de su linaje, formado con Ueda Kocho y luego en la Escuela de Osaka bajo Utagawa Sadamasu. La mayor parte de sus xilografías se produjo tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial, muchas por encargo de la editorial Uchida de Kioto. Mantuvo la técnica tradicional del grabado en madera tallado a mano, incorporando en ocasiones toques modernos como relieves con pigmentos metálicos. Su estilo combinó la herencia ukiyo-e con un enfoque del siglo XX. Abordó temas clásicos: teatro kabuki y bunraku, bellezas de Kioto y escenas históricas y legendarias. Su obra se orientó sobre todo al mercado extranjero, con una paleta y temáticas pensadas para un público internacional..

Xilography that represents Goro Tokimune rope, a character of a famous Kabuki theater play. Measures without frame: 26 x 39 cm. Made by Sadanobu Hasegawa III (Osaka, 1881–1963). It was the third recorder of his lineage, formed with Ueda Kocho and then at the Osaka School under Utagawa Sadamasu. Most of its xylographs occurred after World War II, many commissioned by the Uchida de Kyoto publishing house. He maintained the traditional technique of hand -carved wood engraving, sometimes incorporating modern touches such as reliefs with metal pigments. C'était le troisième enregistreur de sa lignée, formé avec Ueda Kocho puis à l'école d'Osaka sous Utagawa Sadamasu. La plupart de ses xylographes se sont produits après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, beaucoup ont commandé par la maison d'édition Uchida de Kyoto.
