coche Ford Mercuy Couger

One excellent "Made in Japan" all plastic toy "GO CARS" model of the Mercury Couger 2-door from the late 1960's to early 1970's that were produced by Proctor & Gamble as a give away toy. I'm not sure what year the 'Couger' is representing but it is in excellent condition. The 'Go Action' mechanism is in excellent condition and operates perfectly as designed (see the last photo for explanation). It should be noted this toy is embossed just below the 'explanation label' with; "made in Japan". This all plastic car is 100% complete and looks like it came right out of the box. The actual date of issue and the scale are just a guess based on past experience. The COUGER vehicle is about 5" long x about 2" wide without the starter-rod. THIS IS A VERY SCARCE and VERY HARD-TO-FIND Plastic toy in this complete and excellent condition. Usually the 'starter rod is missing or broken' or when you find them the car is in banged up condition.....This one is in excellent like new condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
