In February 1977, a separate EP titled Watching Rainbows (sometimes also available as an LP) was released, featuring the Twickenham jam tracks "Watching Rainbows," "Mean Mr. Mustard," and "Madman." These original recordings dated January 14, 1969, were released significantly earlier than the Abbey Road alternative LPs.

The bootleg was pressed from Radio Luxembourg (RTL) broadcasts, where a Spanish or French DJ would announce parts of the songs over the music—thus filtering the sound.

However, these pressings sometimes included the complete B-roll without a DJ overlay.

This release preceded the No. 3 Abbey Road N.W.8 LP and is notable for being the first circulating version of these jams.

Collectors often consider this version to be the best available version from the tape reels—barring unreleased or lost master reels.

Attention:

The

recording of bootlegs and most times there quality cannot be compared to

today's mixed LPs.

But

these LPs capture the live feeling with all the extra noises like no other

releases and are real collector's items
