The Beatles – Original Audition Tape, Circa 1962, is a vinyl release featuring recordings from the band's audition session with Decca on January 1, 1962.

The Beatles auditioned for Decca Records on New Year’s Day 1962. Despite their efforts—including original songs like "Like Dreamers Do," "Hello Little Girl," and "Love of the Loved"—Decca rejected them, famously claiming “guitar bands are on the way out.”

This became in retrospect the biggest mistake in music history.

The session lasted about an hour, with the band performing around 15 songs, mostly in a single take with no overdubs.

In 1995, select tracks from that session—such as "Searchin'," "Three Cool Cats," "The Sheik of Araby," "Like Dreamers Do," and "Hello Little Girl"—were officially released on Anthology 1
