The design of the cover comes from Klaus Voormann, a friend of the Beatles from their days in Hamburg, and is designed as a mixture of collage and line drawing.

Paul McCartney said of the cover: “Klaus had been a good friend since the time in Hamburg - he was one of the 'Exis', the existentialists we met at the time. We knew he was drawing and doing graphic design, admittedly we didn't know what exactly he was doing, but he had been to college. We knew it had to be good, so we said, 'Why don't you come up with something for the LP cover?' He did, and we were all very pleased with it. "

Originally released with obi and 4-page insert with English lyrics and Japanese liner notes.

Condition:

LP / VG+ (only fine, flat, thread scratches from the years) nice for the age

Cover / VG+ (wrinkles, a pressure, light stains)

OIS /VG+ ( folds and a cut on the flap)
