FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILWAY 1908 (guide & timetable)

This is a great timetable and map of Flagler's famous East Coast Railway, here detailing the Key West Extension between Miami and Key West during its construction. The colorful map includes an inset of the entire state, another detailing the town and most of the island of Key West. Below the map are seven vignette photographs showing construction including dredging, workers laying rail across the Long Key Viaduct, a fine view of the entire concrete viaduct and a large excavator on rails. Directly below the map is a wide elevation view "Miami to Key West Bay, 155.84 miles." On the verso the time table is dated February 6, 1908. The rail schedule to Key West is "Proposed" as is the route from Knight Key to Havana. The various panels describe the line and its services: Branch Lines' Schedule, The Florida Limited, A Winter on the "Sunny-Side" of Florida, Parlor and Sleeping Cars, Seaboard Florida Limited "Solid Pullman Electric Lighted Train", and a large panel describing the full Florida East Coast Railway schedule. Gran horario y mapa del famoso ferrocarril de Flagler la Costa Este (EEUU) , detallando aquí la extensión del cabo oeste entre Miami y Key West durante su construcción. El colorido mapa incluye un recuadro con el mapa de todo el estado, otro detallando la ciudad y la mayor parte de la isla de Key West.

Bajo el mapa hay siete viñetas fotográficas, mostrando la construcción incluído el dragado, los trabajadores instalando las vías a través del viaducto de Long Key, una buena vista de todo el viaducto de hormigón y una gran excavadora sobre raíles. Directamente bajo el mapa, un plano a vista alzada de "Miami a Key West Bay 155.84 millas" En el reverso, el horario de fecha 6 de febrero de 1908.

El horario del ferrocarril a Key West es "propuesto", así como la ruta desde Knight Key a la Habana. Los diversos paneles describen la línea y sus servicios: Horario Branch Lines, la Florida Limited, un invierno en el "Sunny-Side" de Florida, salón y coches-cama, litoral de Florida Limited "Solid Pullman tren eléctrico con luz" y un gran panel descriptivo del calendario del ferrocarril de la costa este de Florida.
