Nobody chooses to have Type 1 Diabetes, so everyone with this condition should feel confident with themselves. That?s why I decided to make this book. When I was diagnosed with T1D, I was really scared and overwhelmed. But after a few days, I became more fearless and felt empowered and secure. So, I wrote From My Eyes with the hope of helping kids (like me) understand how to manage diabetes easily feel more comfortable, and not be so scared and overwhelmed.
