The Mistral was the French under license built version of the Vampire, the second jet-fighter that entered in RAF service, being the prototype’s first flight still in the IIWW. She was a great aircraft with a great export sucess, reaching the ‘80s still flying with the Swiss AF. She was developed in a large number of variants, becoming a more powerful aircraft, the Venom.... but that is another story. The kit. Mexican re-issue of the original Heller tool, the only available for this aircraft in this scale with a good level of detail for the time it was first released, specially the undercarriage; and despite the finelly raised panel lines.
