The game of Mah Jongg originated in the 19th century but much of its mystic symbolism is descended from an ancient Chinese oracle used by soothsayers. This is a system of divination which has been developed from the original tiles and enables anyone to use the oracle to tell fortunes. The complete kit contains the oriental cards, a book of explanation and instructions to introduce the user to the Mah Jongg oracle and to reveal the significance of the cards. 12 sample readings are included to show how the cards are laid out and how to interpret them.

1. What is the Mah Jongg?
There is no exact data on the origin of the Mah Jongg but it seems that the Mah Jongg is a direct descendant of the I Ching that thousands of years ago people considered enlightened and who enjoyed great prestige for their infinite wisdom, consulted it to guide humanity and united with the astronomers who began to record the progressions of the sun, the moon and the planets, they used a simple mechanism, a kind of board, to calculate the positions of the celestial bodies. The movement through the heavens was recorded by moving some counters around the divisions of the board where the inverted cardinal points played a very important role since a celestial map was represented, not a terrestrial one and where the No. 13 of cards or of tiles form the months of the lunar calendar.
As the history of the origin of Mah jongg is unclear, it is said that Confucius, around 500 B.C. He was the one who invented it so that the people of the common denominator could find answers to the questions of the moment. The Chinese people are recognized for their great ability to "observe" nature and have always been guided by celestial energies and terrestrial sounds to know what moment they are in today and the movement of the three dragons, Red, Green and White. They have been fundamental in their predictive arts and according to where they fall, the “center” synonymous with stability is literally seen to observe prosperity and clarity in a situation. We cannot forget that, within these Oriental Predictive Arts, there is a Spiritual Principle that would represent the Confucian virtues of benevolence, sincerity and filial piety.
Mah jongg is better known today as a game similar to Rummy but its true principle has been, for thousands of years, to serve as an Oracle and the accuracy of its answers is truly impressive. The Mah Jongg has 144 beautifully illustrated cards in full color. Each card brings a special illumination and according to the cardinal point where it is placed, it shows what the consultant has in favor, what he must take care of, where he is going, what are the "aces" he has up his sleeve and the final result.
Mah jongg is said to date back to the Chau Dynasty and its symbolism has been preserved as one of the greatest oracular relics of the East.
2. How is it used?
The 144 fourths are shuffled and arranged on the table in such a way as if the consultant were building the frame of his house that symbolizes his life. Obviously, some cards must be placed on top of the others. The querent passes their hands over the oracle while asking the question and draws 13 cards at random. The 13 cards are shuffled again and arranged as follows:
1 in the center
3 north
3 south
3 to the east and
This exercise is repeated for each question because no Chinese oracle pretends to guess, it guides in the wisest and most exact way.
3. What is the difference between the Mah jongg, the I ching and the tarot?
The I CHING is the Great Sovereign, it is the Book of mutations, it is the Bible of the East and it is the Mother Science of all Chinese Sciences. It is pure energy, it is Yin and Yang. In ancient times, only kings, princes and rulers had access to this Fountain. It is the most perfect binary code because in its 64 hexagrams we can see the beginning and end of time, it is the most spiritual teaching on perseverance, on acceptance and on evolution.
The Mah Jongg originated for the people, but it comes from the I Ching of their spiritual principles and the perfection of nature.
The language of the Tarot is different because it comes from Egypt, equally wise, but it is important to note that, according to the interpreter's level of being, his orientation will be.
