Antique Charles Horner large silver thimble of Halifax
It measures approximately 2.3 cm high x 2 cm to the widest point across
The hallmarks read as follow
Number 5 – Makers initials CH Charles Horner . a lio the symbol for silver – Sheffield the place in which it was made . These hallmarks are slightly worn and hard t oread, finaly the letter H for the year in which it was made. Possibily late 1800’s, early 1900’s.
It has two dents but not have any holes
This is a thimble with loads of history and charm
