Sarcófago conmemorativo tallado en madera de sicomoro que representa a Ibentina, esposa de un hombre llamado Satnem; ambos eran residentes de Deir el-Medina. Esta era la localidad donde vivían los artesanos que construyeron las tumbas reales en el Valle de los Reyes, junto con sus familias.

Es una obra maestra con restos de oro que mide 20 cm de largo, 6 cm de ancho y 5 cm de alto, y pesa 107 gramos.

Medium: sycamore wood with gold leaf

A commemorative sarcophagus carved from sycamore wood, depicting Ibentina—the wife of a man named Satnem; both were residents of Deir el-Medina. This was the settlement where the artisans who built the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings lived with their families.

It is a masterpiece featuring traces of gold, measuring 20 cm in length, 6 cm in width, and 5 cm in height, and weighing 107 grams.
