GRAN JARRÓN CHARLES SCHNEIDER LE VERRE FRANÇAIS MONEDAS DEL PAPA 45 cm SÓLO RECOGIDA LOCAL

Monumental jarrón de vidrio multicapa grabado al ácido, con forma abalaustrada. Decoración en capa superior con monedas del Papa en colores naranja y ramas con moteado marrón. Fondo translúcido con moteado en color crema. Base de color verde con líneas marrones que continúan en el cuerpo como ramas de las flores circulares

Inserto en el borde de la base, un pequeño trozo azul, blanco y rojo, llamado Berlingot. Primera marca usada por Charles Schneider entre 1918 y 1921. Hacia 1921 se utilizó el berlingot con la firma Le Verre Français conjuntamente, quedando a partir de entonces sólo la firma.

Stylized engraved overlay decoration in circular orange “flowers” attached to mottled brown branches against a milky mottling frosted background.

Green base with dark brown lines that continues in the branches mentioned above

Marked at the lower edge with an inset 'candy cane' mark called “berlingot” in french. It was the earliest mark used from 1918 to 1921 by Charles Schneider

Charles Schneider (1881-1953) was an Art Deco glass artista, born in Elzas, Germany, and later moved to Nancy.
