One Gibson original and one J&D.
On my Zoom multi-effect pedal plugged on 2 80-Watt montarbo speakers, they sound almost the same.(thats my gear for now)
J&D sound is awesome and warm, regardless playing jazz,rock,metal or whatever.
If you don't want to spend lot of bucks for a Gibson LP, then J&D is a perfect option.
I've been using it for 2 months now, and I haven't regretted bying it since I really enjoy playing with it.
Like ismael said, they sound very warm If you really want a sharp bright sound, no go, but for the warmer sound, it's very good.
It has a bolt on neck..
