35 cm. de largo. En el año 1905, el padre de familia, Rafael Payá Picó, vende el taller de hojalatería a sus hijos, Vicente, Pascual y Emilio Payá Lloret. La buena acogida de los artículos infantiles hizo que los tres hermanos pronto se dieran cuenta de las posibilidades del negocio y se dedicaron de lleno a la fabricación de juguetes de metal abandonando sus antiguas ocupaciones. En 1909, la empresa Payá se presentó con un muestrario propio en la primera Exposición Regional Valenciana donde recibieron diversos premios por sus juguetes metálicos. El ascenso de la empresa fue paulatino pero constante tanto que en 1915 es la fábrica de juguetes más importante de España, dando empleo a cientos de operarios. Los hermanos Payá fueron los pioneros en dotar de mecanismos a sus productos, estando siempre a la vanguardia de las novedades como lo demuestra el hecho de que ya en 1932 lanzaron al mercado la primera locomotora eléctrica producida en nuestro país. El surtido llegó a ser muy variado llegando a verse más de 800 juguetes en su catálogo de 1936. Durante la Guerra Civil, la empresa fue militarizada sirviendo como industria de armamento. En la posguerra recuperó protagonismo convirtiéndose en la empresa por antonomasia en la producción de trenes en miniatura. Un claro ejemplo de esto fue su famosa "Locomotora Santa Fe". En 1948 se convirtieron en los precursores de la era del plástico en España al comprar la primera máquina de inyectado de plástico adaptada a la producción juguetera.

The good reception of children's items made the three brothers soon realize the possibilities of the business and they dedicated themselves fully to the manufacture of metal toys, abandoning their former occupations. In 1909, the Payá company presented its own samples at the first Valencian Regional Exhibition where they received various awards for their metal toys. The rise of the company was gradual but constant, so much so that in 1915 it was the most important toy factory in Spain, employing hundreds of workers. The Payá brothers were the pioneers in providing mechanisms to their products, always being at the forefront of innovations as demonstrated by the fact that in 1932 they launched the first electric locomotive produced in our country on the market. The assortment became very varied, with more than 800 toys being seen in its 1936 catalogue. During the Civil War, the company was militarized, serving as an arms industry. In the post-war period it regained prominence, becoming the company par excellence in the production of miniature trains. A clear example of this was his famous "Santa Fe Locomotive". In 1948 they became the precursors of the plastic era in Spain by purchasing the first plastic injection machine adapted to toy production.

35cm. long. En 1905, le père de famille, Rafael Payá Picó, vendit l'atelier de ferblanterie à ses fils, Vicente, Pascual et Emilio Payá Lloret. Le bon accueil des articles pour enfants a rapidement fait prendre conscience aux trois frères des possibilités de l'entreprise et ils se sont entièrement consacrés à la fabrication de jouets en métal, abandonnant leurs anciennes occupations. En 1909, la société Payá présenta ses propres échantillons à la première Exposition Régionale de Valence où elle reçut plusieurs prix pour ses jouets en métal. L'essor de l'entreprise fut progressif mais constant, à tel point qu'en 1915 elle devint la plus importante usine de jouets d'Espagne, employant des centaines de travailleurs. Les frères Payá ont été les pionniers dans la fourniture de mécanismes à leurs produits, étant toujours à la pointe des innovations comme en témoigne le fait qu'en 1932 ils ont lancé sur le marché la première locomotive électrique produite dans notre pays. L'assortiment devient très varié, avec plus de 800 jouets dans son catalogue de 1936. Pendant la guerre civile, l'entreprise est militarisée et sert d'industrie d'armement. Dans l’après-guerre, elle retrouve son importance et devient l’entreprise par excellence dans la production de trains miniatures. Un exemple clair en est sa célèbre « Locomotive de Santa Fe ». En 1948, ils deviennent les précurseurs de l'ère du plastique en Espagne en achetant la première machine d'injection plastique adaptée à la production de jouets.
