Descripción:

- Precioso dibujo realizado con la técnica de Ófset, y pintado posteriormente con gouache. Firmado por el autor.

- La impresión de Ófset es un método de impresión que consiste en aplicar una tinta, generalmente grasa, sobre una plancha metálica, compuesta generalmente de una aleación de aluminio, constituye un proceso similar al de la litografía. Es uno de los sistemas indirectos de impresión, ya que el sustrato no tiene contacto con la plancha matriz para traspasar la imagen.

- El autor Émile Gallois (1882 – 1965) fue un pintor e ilustrador impresionista francés. Ilustró varios libros y portafolios, muchos de ellos centrados en trajes de todo el mundo. Publicó el libro ‘Costumes Espagnols’ con una amplia serie de ilustraciones relativas a la indumentaria popular de diversas provincias españolas.

- El personaje representado en este caso es de una mujer alicantina con el traje popular de la zona.

- Firmada y numerada, en la esquina inferior derecha aparece la firma, y algunos datos puestos posteriormente, como la fecha: 1939.

- En la esquina inferior izquierda aparece numerada con el número: 32.

- Tiene un tamaño bastante grande, sin enmarcar.

Conservación y desperfectos:

- Estado general muy bueno.

- Tiene un papel de buen espesor y de buena calidad.

- Se encuentra en perfecto estado sin manchas ni humedades.

- Tiene el desgaste propio de su tiempo.

Description:

- Precious drawing made with the technique of ophset, and later painted with gouache. Signed by the author.

- Offset printing is a printing method which consists of applying an ink, generally grease, on a metal plate, generally made of an aluminium alloy. It is a process similar to lithography. It is one of the indirect printing systems, as the substrate has no contact with the matrix plate to transfer the image.

- The author Émile Gallois (1882 - 1965) was a French Impressionist painter and illustrator. He illustrated several books and portfolios, many of them focusing on costumes from around the world. He published the book ‘Costumes Espagnols’ with an extensive series of illustrations relating to the popular costumes of various Spanish provinces.

- The character depicted in this case is of a woman from Alicante wearing the popular costume of the area.
