- Claude Monet (1840-1926), pintor francés, uno de los creadores del impresionismo. Sus primeras obras son de estilo realista, y a partir del final de la década de 1860 comenzó a pintar obras impresionistas.

- El cuadro es muy famoso, llamado El Barco estudio de Monet. En esta pintura el barco está amarrado entre dos postes, inmóvil sobre el agua. Una figura es vagamente distinguible en la cabaña, probablemente el propio Monet. La mayor parte del lienzo está ocupado por el río que fluye en calma, en el que se reflejan el estudio del barco con los árboles, pero también el cielo. Claude Monet da una impresión de tranquilidad en el agua durante un día de verano.

- La lámina está pegada sólo por la parte superior a una cartulina, que tiene una bonita línea gris claro que rodea la lámina.

- Claude Monet (1840-1926), French painter, one of the founders of Impressionism. His early works are realistic in style, and from the late 1860s onwards he began to paint Impressionist works.

- The painting is very famous and is called Monet's Study of a Boat. In this painting, the boat is moored between two posts, motionless on the water. A figure is vaguely distinguishable in the cabin, probably Monet himself. Most of the canvas is occupied by the calmly flowing river, which reflects the study of the boat with the trees, but also the sky.
