S	Sealed	Perfecto y dentro de su precinto original. Absolutely perfect in every way. Even still sealed.
M	Mint	Perfecto y con certeza de que nunca se ha escuchado. Absolutely perfect. Certainly never been played.
NM	Near Mint	Casi perfecto, sin signos notables de deterioro en el vinilo o sólo alguna pequeña marca circular en la carpeta, sin arrugas o pliegues. A nearly perfect record. No obvious signs of wear, a invisible roundwear, no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects.
EX	Excellent	Con marcas mínimas en el vinilo que no afectan el sonido. Vinyl with minimal markings that do not affect the sound.
VG+	Very Good Plus	Con marcas en el acetato que afectan sonido, un poco de ruido en pequeñas secciones del vinilo. Urdimbres leves y el sonido es aceptable. La carpeta tiene signos de uso y algo de roce en los bordes o marca circular, pero no tiene gran desgarro. Vinyl with marks that affect the sound, a little of scratch in small sections of vinyl.. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.
VG	Very Good	Los defectos encontrados en un disco VG + serán más pronunciados en un disco VG. Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
G+	Good Plus	Un disco en estado G o G+ se puede poner en un plato giratorio y se reproducirá sin saltar. Pero va a tener ruido y rasguños de superficie significativos y desgaste visible del surco. A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear (on a styrene record, the groove will be starting to turn white). A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.
G	Good	Igual que en G+, pero con muchos defectos a la vez. Same as G+, but many defects together.
P or F	Poor or Fair	El disco está agrietado, muy deformado, y no se puede reproducir sin que salte o repita. La carpeta está dañada, empapada, dividida en los tres cantos y muy estropeada por el desgaste y la escritura. La cubierta del LP apenas mantiene el LP en su interior. The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon.
