BALONCESTO UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN STUDENT, THE BASKETBALL TEAM TRY OUTS IN 1907

1907. Baloncesto antiguo, raro. A rare and early letter by a University of Michigan student, discussing his try-outs for the famed basketball team. This letter was penned in 1907. just 15 years after Naiminsth's invention of the game.  The student, named Glenn, states in part: "...Our class practices for basketball tonigth but i don't believe i will go out for the team i don't care enough for it. I like to see the game but i don't believe i will play even if i was sure of making team...". The letter is in very fine condition overall and accompanied by original envelope.
