Descripción:

- Moneda de CINCUENTA PESETAS, con forma circular, de la época del Estado Español presidido por Francisco Franco Bahamonde, diseñada en el año 1957 y acuñada por la Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre en el año 1958.

- Anverso: Bajorrelieve del Busto del General Francisco Franco Bahamonde, diseñado por el escultor Mariano Benlliure Gil. Está sin firmar. En su perímetro interior tiene la leyenda “FRANCISCO FRANCO CAUDILLO DE ESPAÑA POR LA G. DE DIOS” “1957”. En su perímetro exterior tiene una orla de puntos que se acercan a la forma de una lágrima.

- Reverso: Bajorrelieve del Escudo de España, sobre el Águila de San Juan, y con el yugo y las flechas en su base. A sus lados tienen dos columnas con una banda con la leyenda “`PLUS ULTRA”. En la cabeza del Águila hay una banda con la leyenda “UNA GRANDE LIBRE”. En su interior tiene la leyenda “50 PTAS” y una “ESTRELLA” con el año de acuñación en su interior “58”. En su perímetro exterior tiene una orla de puntos que se acercan a la forma de una lágrima.

- Canto: Liso con la leyenda “UNA GRANDE LIBRE”.

- Esta Moneda está realizada con una aleación de Níquel y una pequeña cantidad de Cobre.

- No se ha localizado ningún distintivo, marca o contraste, que puedan facilitar más datos sobre esta Moneda.

Conservación y desperfectos:

- Su estado es BC – Buena Conservación - Golpeada. Conserva una atractiva pátina, a pesar de haber sido limpiada.

- Tanto en el Anverso como en el Reverso de la Moneda, el altorrelieve presenta un desgaste bajo y golpes y rayajos.

- El Canto liso con la leyenda presenta golpes y bastante desgaste.

- Coin of FIFTY PESETAS, with circular form, of the time of the Spanish State presided by Francisco Franco Bahamonde, designed in the year 1957 and minted by the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre in the year 1958.

- Obverse: Bas-relief of the Bust of General Francisco Franco Bahamonde, designed by the sculptor Mariano Benlliure Gil. It is unsigned. In its inner perimeter it has the legend “FRANCISCO FRANCO CAUDILLO DE ESPAÑA POR LA G. DE DIOS” “1957”. On its outer perimeter it has a border of dots approaching the shape of a teardrop.

- Reverse: Bas-relief of the Coat of Arms of Spain, over the Eagle of St. John, and with the yoke and arrows at its base. On its sides there are two columns with a band with the legend “`PLUS ULTRA”. On the head of the Eagle there is a band with the legend “UNA GRANDE LIBRE”. Inside it has the legend “50 PTAS” and a “STAR” with the mint year inside “58”. On its outer perimeter it has a border of dots approaching the shape of a teardrop.

- Edge: Plain with the legend “ONE GREAT FREE.”

- This Coin is made with an alloy of Nickel and a small amount of Copper.

Conservation and flaws:

- Its condition is BC - Good Condition - Struck. It retains an attractive patina, in spite of having been cleaned.

- Both the Obverse and the Reverse of the coin, the high relief shows a low wear and scratches.

- The Plain Edge with the legend shows bumps and quite a bit of wear.
