CD Delights and Dances - West Side Story - Chicago Sinfonietta - Harlem Quartet

Delights & Dances is the first new Chicago Sinfonietta CD in nearly a decade. Featuring special guests the Harlem Quartet,  the recording puts a spotlight on music for string quartet and orchestra,including World Premiere recordings of Michael Abels’ Delights & Dances and Leonard Bernstein / Randall Craig Fleischer’s West Side Story Concerto, plus Benjamin Lees’ rarely heard Concerto. A Mei-Ann Chen and audience favorite, Saibei Dance, written by An-Lun Huang, rounds out the selections.
