Descripción:

- Plomada Instrumental de la Primera Mitad del S. XX sin nuez y, por lo tanto, incompleta. Pesa de bronce, con Cabeza roscada.

- La Pesa tiene forma de Pera de 8,3 cm de alto, 4 cm de Diámetro y 249 gr. de peso.

- Rosca de tamaño y diámetro mediano, con filete y paso pequeño.

- En la Cabeza tiene la inscripción “MONUMENT BRAND”.

- La historia de Monument se remonta a 1880, cuando George Collier comenzó a comerciar con herramientas en Cornwall Road, Brixton, Londres. Corresponde a la Marca inglesa “Monument Brand” registrada por primera vez en el año 1908, y que previamente empezó como “A Collier & Co”. La marca sigue existiendo hoy en día, bajo el nombre de “Monument Tools”.

- El Cuerpo de la Pesa es de bronce con una punta de hierro.

- Se conserva muy buena y bonita pátina en toda la Plomada. La calidad de ejecución de la Plomada es buena.

- Seguramente la Plomada esté realizada en el sur de Europa.

Conservación y desperfectos:

- La Plomada se encuentran en buen estado de conservación, teniendo la Pesa muchos, pero muy pequeños golpes y roces.

- La Plomada presenta el desgaste propio de su tiempo.

Comentarios:

- Tanto las Medidas, como el Peso, son aproximados.

- Muy interesante como pieza de colección y como elemento decorativo.

- Debido a que es inevitable las diferencias de tonalidades entre fotos y realidad, se debe tener presente que los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son exactamente iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.

- Instrumental plumb bob from the first half of the 20th century without a nut and, therefore, incomplete. Bronze weight, with threaded head.

- The weight is pear-shaped, 8.3 cm high, 4 cm in diameter and weighs 249 gr.

- The thread is of medium size and diameter, with a thread and a small pitch.

- On the head it has the inscription "MONUMENT BRAND".

- The history of Monument goes back to 1880, when George Collier started trading in tools in Cornwall Road, Brixton, London.
