Antiguo altar neogótico convertido en barra mostrador – policromada con pan de oro original.

Magnífico altar de estilo neogótico, elaborado en madera de pino, decorado con policromía original y pan de oro auténtico. El frente presenta un elegante diseño con motivos geométrico-florales tallados, característicos del arte religioso del siglo XIX.

En el año 2000, esta pieza fue transformada cuidadosamente en una barra o mostrador, manteniendo su carácter ornamental. En la parte superior se restauró un hueco —donde originalmente se encontraba anclada una imagen religiosa— utilizando madera antigua de pino, perfectamente integrada con la estructura original.

Tanto el sobre como el frente presentan algunas rajas en la madera, resultado natural del paso del tiempo y de los cambios de temperatura. Estas grietas no afectan en absoluto a la estabilidad ni a la funcionalidad del mueble, y aportan autenticidad y carácter a la pieza.

Para elevar la altura y mejorar su estabilidad, el altar fue fijado sobre una sólida base de madera de pino antiguo de aproximadamente 7 cm de grosor. En el interior se añadieron dos cajones y una balda funcional, todos realizados también con madera de pino antiguo, respetando la estética y el valor histórico del conjunto.

Magnificent Neo-Gothic style altar, crafted from pine wood, decorated with original polychrome and genuine gold leaf. The front features an elegant design with carved geometric and floral motifs, characteristic of 19th-century religious art.

In 2000, this piece was carefully transformed into a bar or counter, maintaining its ornamental character. A hollow in the upper part—where a religious image was originally anchored—was restored using antique pine wood, perfectly integrating with the original structure.

Both the top and the front have some cracks in the wood, a natural result of the passage of time and temperature changes. These cracks do not affect the stability or functionality of the piece, and lend authenticity and character to the piece.

To increase the height and improve stability, the altar was placed on a solid base of antique pine wood approximately 7 cm thick. Two drawers and a functional shelf were added inside, all also made from antique pine wood, respecting the aesthetics and historical value of the piece.
