Descripción:

Bonita campana de bronce y hierro. La campana está completa, conservando todas sus partes, extremo éste rarísimo, por ser muy difícil encontrarlas totalmente completas. Ésta es una campana que puede tener varios usos. Era susceptible de darle una utilización doméstica. El uso más común era la de avisar de la presencia de ciertos animales, para lo cual se colgaba del collar del animal.

El yugo que conserva es el original, y consiste en una pieza metálica con una forma cercana a la elíptica, anclada en el asa mediante un bulón remachado por ambos lados. Se encuentra en un avanzado estado de oxidación.

El asa es cuadrada, con una perforación central que es donde está anclado el Yugo. El hombro, parte superior de la campana, es liso. El medio pie, remarcado exteriormente con tres anillos incisos, es el lugar en donde golpea el badajo, que al ser una campana tan pequeña no está reforzado exteriormente. El pie sí que ha sido reforzado con un mayor grueso de la copa. La anilla es muy fina, aunque no se conserva en perfecto estado. La caña es de hierro, muy oxidado, pero está completa. La bola es de bronce.

La campana está poco usada, por lo que el interior del medio pie tiene la huella del badajo levemente marcada.

Después de analizar detenidamente la campana, hemos llegado a la conclusión que está fundida en dos piezas. En la primera fase se funde la copa dejando un hueco en su parte superior. En la segunda fase se funde el asa, a la que se le incorpora la anilla, que se introduce por el hueco dejado en la copa.

Esta campana ha estado abandonada por mucho tiempo en algún lugar con un alto grado de humedad, causa por la que todas sus partes de hierro se encuentran tan oxidadas. Tiene una pátina extraordinaria, que realza mucho su imagen.

Comentarios:

Debido a que es inevitable las diferencias de tonalidades entre fotos y realidad, hay que tener presente que los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son exactamente iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.
