Extraordinario candelabro francés de estilo Carlos X, realizado en el siglo XIX en Francia. Refinado y exquisito, se trata de un candelabro de dos brazos o luces realizado completamente en ormolú. Presenta una estructura sencilla, pues se conforma de un fuste del que salen las dos luces, rematado por una corona de laurel. Los dos brazos presentan forma de plato para atajar la parafina que se pueda desprender de la vela encendida, como si fueran dos palmatorias. Por su parte, la base es circular y con paredes altas, con forma de cuenco. A este tipo de candelabros se les conoce como “Bouillotte”, y son los antecesores de las posteriores “Lamparas Bouillotte”. El bouillotte es un juego de farol considerado como uno de los antepasados ​​del Poker. Para iluminar la velada, primero se usaban candelabros a los que, posteriormente, se les añadió una pantalla, para que la luz fuera aún más tenue. Extraordinary French candelabra in the Charles X style, made in the 19th century in France. Refined and exquisite, it is a two-arm or two-light candelabra made entirely of ormolu.
