En la parte superior se desarrolla un exuberante copete, esbelto y ligero, que presenta en su zona central una amplia rocalla. Esta rocalla central se une mediante unas delicadas volutas con los elementos vegetales que se extienden por los laterales del espejo.

Para algunos autores, el Luis XVI es un estilo de marcada tendencia “femenina”, e incluso debió llevar el nombre de “María Antonieta”.
