Frente de arca antiguo de madera de castaño – Castilla y León – siglo XVIII/XIX – tallado a mano

Auténtico frente de arca tradicional castellano-leonés, tallado a mano en madera maciza de castaño, con motivos geométricos y un crucifijo central profundamente labrado, símbolo de protección y devoción en el mobiliario popular de la época.

Procedente de Castilla y León, esta pieza conserva todo el carácter del mueble rural histórico. Ha sido restaurada cuidadosamente, incluyendo una pieza central de sustitución para cubrir el hueco original de la cerradura (ver fotografía). El frente ha sido lijado y barnizado con barniz ecológico acrílico de acabado mate, que respeta y realza el color natural del castaño.

Hoy se convierte en una pieza decorativa única, ideal para colgar en la pared o integrar en proyectos de interiorismo con alma rústica o inspiración histórica.

Originally from Castile and León, this piece retains all the character of a historic rural piece of furniture. It has been carefully restored, including a replacement centerpiece to cover the original keyhole (see photo). The front has been sanded and varnished with an ecological acrylic varnish with a dull finish, which respects and enhances the natural color of the chestnut.

Today, it becomes a unique decorative piece, ideal for hanging on the wall or integrating into interior design projects with a rustic or historically inspired feel.
