Descripción:

- Pequeño Plato circular, de buena calidad, que tiene un borde perimetral de 1 cm de alto y 1,7 cm de ancho. El Platito está fabricado de loza esmaltada en beis, con decoración de reflejos metálicos de aceptable calidad, probablemente realizado en Manises (Valencia – España), en la Primera Mitad del S.XX.

- El Platito tiene un grueso medio, sin sonido al toque. El esmalte beis tiene un importante grosor, lo que proporciona una gran calidad.

- En la cara superior, la decoración de reflejos metálicos forma un dibujo simétrico a dos ejes perpendiculares, rematado por una cenefa en todo su borde perimetral.

- En la cara inferior, el plato no tiene ningún tipo de dibujo, viéndose en todo su esplendor el esmalte beis, y mostrándose las tres marcas del soporte de cocción. Tiene la firma “V.V.” en dorado

- En el borde tiene de fabricación un pequeño resalto, sensiblemente rectangular, que raramente se presenta en los platos de cerámica.

- Pensamos que este plato tiene tres fases de cocido. Una primera fase en la que se introduce en el horno la loza virgen. En una segunda fase se cuece el plato con la aplicación del esmalte beis amarillento. Y una tercera fase para volver a cocer el plato con la aplicación de la pintura de reflejos metálicos.

- Todas estas características que tiene el pequeño Platito, proporcionan una pátina muy interesante, con un aspecto muy atractivo y de calidad.

- Que el Objeto tenga algún Distintivo, Marca o Contraste, es de gran importancia para poder identificar datos como su autor, el sitio donde se fabricó y otros destalles.

Conservación y desperfectos:

- El Plato que nos ocupa se encuentra en Muy Buen Estado, especialmente los reflejos metálicos que se conservan bastante bien.

- Presenta varios desperfectos de fabricación, principalmente uno en la cara superior.

- Tiene pequeños desconchones en el borde, debido a roces y pequeños golpes.

- Presenta el desgaste propio de su tiempo, así como algunas manchas. Tiene pequeños desperfectos.

Comentarios:

- Tanto las Medidas, como el Peso, son aproximados.

- Muy interesante como pieza de colección y elemento decorativo.

- Es muy difícil de encontrar Objetos de estas características.

- Los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.

Description:

- Small circular saucer, of good quality, with a perimeter rim 1 cm high and 1.7 cm wide. The saucer is made of beige enamelled earthenware, with metallic lustre decoration of acceptable quality, probably made in Manises (Valencia - Spain), in the first half of the 20th century.

- The saucer is of medium thickness, with no sound to the touch. The beige enamel is very thick, which gives it a high quality.

- On the upper side, the metallic lustre decoration forms a symmetrical pattern on two perpendicular axes, topped by a border all around the perimeter.

- On the underside of the dish there is no pattern of any kind, with the beige enamel showing in all its splendour, and the three marks of the firing support. It bears the signature 'V.V.' in gilding.

- On the rim there is a small, rectangular rim, which is rarely found on ceramic dishes.

- We think that this dish has three stages of firing. The first stage involves firing the virgin earthenware in the kiln. In a second phase, the dish is fired with the application of the yellowish-beige glaze. And a third phase in which the dish is fired again with the application of the metallic lustre paint.

- All these characteristics that the small plate has, provide a very interesting patina, with a very attractive and quality appearance.

- The fact that the object has a distinctive mark or contrast is of great importance in order to be able to identify data such as its maker, the place where it was made and other details.

Conservation and damage:

- The plate in question is in very good condition, especially the metallic highlights, which are fairly well preserved.

- It has several manufacturing flaws, mainly one on the upper face.

- It has small chips on the rim, due to rubbing and small knocks.

- It shows the wear and tear of its age, as well as some stains. It has small flaws.

Comments:

- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.

- Very interesting as a collector's item and decorative element.

- It is very difficult to find objects with these characteristics.

- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
