Conservación: Muy Buena.

Descripción:

- Plato mediano circular, de buena calidad, con cordón ondulado en el canto de su perímetro a modo de cenefa perimetral. El Plato está fabricado de loza esmaltada en beis, con decoración de reflejos metálicos y azul cobalto, de aceptable calidad, probablemente realizado en Manises (Valencia – España), en la Segunda Mitad del S. XX. Por sus características, podría haber sido realizado a principios del S.XX. En nuestra opinión, el Plato tiene influencias mudéjares tardías.

- El Plato tiene un grueso medio, sin sonido al toque. El esmalte beis tiene un importante grosor, lo que le proporciona una gran calidad.

- En la cara superior, la decoración de reflejos metálicos forma un dibujo con cuatro ejes, y una estrella de 8 puntas alrededor de un círculo central. Las formas del dibujo están remarcadas con líneas de azul cobalto.

- En la cara inferior, el Plato no tiene ningún tipo de dibujo, viéndose en todo su esplendor el esmalte beis. Tiene la firma “MM” en dorado.

- Pensamos que este plato tiene tres fases de cocido. Una primera fase en la que se introduce en el horno la loza virgen. En una segunda fase se cuece el plato con la aplicación del esmalte beis amarillento. Y una tercera fase para volver a cocer el plato con la aplicación de la pintura de reflejos metálicos y del azul cobalto.

- Todas estas características que tiene el Plato, proporcionan una pátina muy interesante, con un aspecto muy atractivo y de calidad.

- Que el Objeto tenga algún Distintivo, Marca o Contraste, es de gran importancia para poder identificar datos como su autor, el sitio donde se fabricó y otros destalles.

Conservación y desperfectos:

- El Plato que nos ocupa se encuentra en Muy Buen Estado, especialmente los reflejos metálicos que se conservan bastante bien.

- Tiene algunos muy pequeños desconchones y roces en los bordes. No tiene desperfectos de fabricación.

- Presenta el desgaste propio de su tiempo, así como algunas manchas. Tiene pequeños desperfectos.

Comentarios:

- Tanto las Medidas, como el Peso, son aproximados.

- Muy interesante como pieza de colección y elemento decorativo.

- Es muy difícil de encontrar Objetos de estas características.

- Los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.

- El Objeto en venta es el que se corresponde con las fotos. La descripción no es una exposición detallada del mismo.

Description:

- Medium-sized circular dish, of good quality, with a wavy cord on the edge of its perimeter as a perimeter border. The dish is made of beige enamelled earthenware, with metallic and cobalt blue highlights decoration, of acceptable quality, probably made in Manises (Valencia - Spain), in the second half of the 20th century. Due to its characteristics, it could have been made at the beginning of the 20th century. In our opinion, the dish has late Mudejar influences.

- The cymbal has a medium thickness, with no sound at the touch. The beige enamel is very thick, which gives it a high quality.

- On the upper face, the metallic lustre decoration forms a design with four axes and an eight-pointed star around a central circle. The shapes of the design are outlined with cobalt-blue lines.

- On the underside of the dish there is no pattern of any kind, and the beige enamel is visible in all its splendour. It has the signature "MM" in gold.

- We think that this dish has three phases of firing. The first phase involves firing the virgin earthenware in the kiln. In a second phase the dish is fired with the application of the yellowish beige glaze. And a third phase in which the dish is fired again with the application of the metallic lustre and cobalt blue paint.

- All these characteristics of the plate give it a very interesting patina, with a very attractive and high quality appearance.

- The fact that the object has a distinctive mark or contrast is of great importance in order to be able to identify data such as its maker, the place where it was made and other details.

Conservation and damage:

- The plate in question is in very good condition, especially the metallic highlights, which are fairly well preserved.

- It has some very small chipping and rubbing on the edges. It has no manufacturing flaws.

- It shows the typical wear of its age, as well as some stains. It has minor flaws.

Comments:

- Both measurements and weight are approximate.

- Very interesting as a collector's item and decorative element.

- It is very difficult to find objects with these characteristics.

- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
