Encantador tapiz de pared del siglo XIX, realizado en tonos sepia. Representa una animada escena de época en lo que parece ser la Plaza de San Marcos en Venecia, con figuras elegantemente vestidas, un perro de gran tamaño en primer plano y arquitectura claramente reconocible, como las columnas y arcos góticos del Palacio Ducal.

Firmado en la esquina inferior izquierda con la inscripción: d’après Delleani, lo que indica que la obra está inspirada en un original del pintor italiano Lorenzo Delleani.

Observaciones:

El tapiz conserva una pátina auténtica, acorde a su antigüedad, y presenta una mancha antigua visible entre el edificio y el farol (ver fotos). A pesar de ello, mantiene toda su fuerza decorativa y valor histórico.

It depicts a lively period scene in what appears to be St. Mark's Square in Venice, with elegantly dressed figures, a large dog in the foreground, and clearly recognizable architecture, such as the Gothic columns and arches of the Doge's Palace.

Signed in the lower left corner with the inscription: d'après Delleani, indicating that the work is inspired by an original by the Italian painter Lorenzo Delleani.
