Mesa de centro, Estilo Mason Jasen, realizado en metal dorado, metacrilato y cristal, años 70.

Mesa de los años 70 realizada en metacrilato, un material muy liviano, funcional y limpio estéticamente. Se compone de un sobre de forma rectangular de cristal y una estructura liviana metálica en tono dorado y tubos cilíndricos de metacrilato.

Esta mesa se puede emplear como mesa de centro o bien como mueble de recibidor en un amplio hall. Estos materiales compositivos fueron muy empleados en los diseños de los años 60-70. Se trata de una pieza con mucha personalidad, que a la vez da un respiro al ambiente por la livianidad de sus materiales, su aire chic y su sofisticación en las formas.

La prestigiosa marca parisina Maison Jansen es una de las grandes firmas de interiorismo. Fue fundada por Jean-Henri Jansen en el año 1880, un holandés afincado en París y pronto se estableció en un local a escasos metros de la Bastilla. Destacó especialmente por la restauración y su trabajo en ebanistería, con los mejores artesanos de su época. Desde sus inicios, su intención fue combinar el mobiliario tradicional con influencias de las nuevas tendencias, incluyendo el estilo anglo-japonés, chinoiseries, el movimiento Arts and Crafts y el estilo turco. Fue creciendo, abriendo talleres y tiendas por todo el mundo y decoró residencias de personalidades como los Kennedy, los Duques de Windsor, Coco Chanel...
