Espectacular pareja de sillas de vidrio acrílico francés de alta calidad, inspiradas en el diseño del modelo Louis Ghost creado por Philippe Starck para el fabricante italiano Kartell en 2002. Son muchos los diseñadores que se han inspirado en el diseño original de Starck para crear distintas piezas de mobiliario, muebles donde la forma, la imagen, la transparencia y la luz se combinan. En concreto, esta pareja está atribuida al diseñador francés Jean Charles de Castelbajac, para Acrila. Representan la combinación perfecta entre tradición y modernidad, pues el modelo es realmente una estilización vanguardista de las sillas de estilo Luis XVI en un material absolutamente moderno. Originalmente, las sillas Luis XVI, símbolo de elegancia, se realizaban en madera, con el respaldo y el asiento tapizado. Acrila es una empresa de diseño francesa con sede en Burdeos, fundada en 2007 por el matrimonio de Jean-Christophe Bernard e Isabelle Bernard. Sobre Philippe Starck (1949 – ) y Kartell

Philippe Patrick Starck es un arquitecto y diseñador industrial francés contemporáneo, mundialmente reconocido por la funcionalidad y la estética de sus diseños. A lo largo de su carrera ha creado de todo, desde interiores de hoteles y yates de lujo hasta cepillos de dientes o teteras. Sin embargo, para cada proyecto, Starck ha mantenido un estilo característico reconocible al instante: un aspecto dinámico, elegante, fluido e ingenioso, lleno de originalidad. Por su parte, la empresa italiana Kartell es internacionalmente reconocida por haber llevado un material como el altuglas a la cultura del mobiliario para interiores. Fue fundada por Giulio Castelli en 1949, un ingeniero químico cuyo objetivo aspiración era crear objetos a partir de este material, y ya desde los primeros años comenzó una fructífera colaboración con el gran diseñador Gino Colombini. Desde un principio el objetivo de Kartell fue “alegrar el paisaje doméstico”.

Spectacular pair of high-quality French acrylic glass chairs, inspired by the design of the Louis Ghost model created by Philippe Starck for the Italian manufacturer Kartell in 2002. Many designers have been inspired by Starck's original design to create different pieces of furniture, furniture where shape, image, transparency and light are combined. In particular, this pair is attributed to the French designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac, for Acrila.
